The connected padlocks: to secure your home without keys or combinations
Using the same principles as connected locks, connected padlocks are a new alternative to effectively protect your home or any other property, without the need for a key or combination. Combined with a surveillance camera, they offer optimal security. Available in 2 versions, for indoor and outdoor use, these types of devices work with a dedicated application compatible depending on the models with various existing mobile operating remote control systems, including Windows, iOs and Android. They connect to mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) via Bluetooth technology.
Solid and resistant, the connected padlocks are as powerful, if not more than the classic padlocks.
Options and possibilities of the connected padlocks
The dedicated application allows not only the opening of connected padlocks, but also remote access sharing. In other words, it is possible to allow others to open the connected padlocks according to clearly defined time slots, duration and access location. In addition, the application also allows the owner to be notified in the event of an unauthorized opening attempt or when the padlock battery needs to be recharged. In the latter case, a light signal is also triggered directly on the connected padlock itself. It should be known that, manipulations make it possible to unlock the padlock even if the battery of the smartphone or that of the padlock come to let go.
Some connected padlock models are also equipped with an audible alarm or fingerprint recognition.
